Keys to Hire Progressive Controller or Assistant Controller with broad controllership experience. Manufacturing accounting experience required, or public accounting experience with extensive manufacturing clients. Experience across financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, budgeting, and finance. Proven leader who enjoys developing people and improving processes. Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to enhance already strong accounting operations. Comfortable partnering with operations and executive leadership. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Manufacturing accounting experience required. Experience leading most or all accounting and controllership functions. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and month‑end close. Prior management experience, including oversight of accounting staff. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Job Duties Lead all accounting and controllership functions for the organization. Manage and develop the Accounting Manager while partnering with the broader finance team. Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and maintain an efficient five‑day month‑end close. Continue improving accounting processes, controls, and reporting capabilities. Partner closely with the CFO and leadership team on strategic financial initiatives. Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, compliance, and operational decision‑making. Build scalable accounting processes to support the company’s continued rapid growth.
