In-House Counsel - Contract Attorney - Vendor Contracts (Houston)

Are you an experienced contracts attorney eager to make an immediate impact at a leading technology company? We’re searching for a proactive, business-minded In-House Attorney to join our dynamic Houston legal team and take the lead on a broad variety of vendor contracting initiatives. This is a dedicated contracts position, not a litigation or dispute resolution role. What You’ll Do: - Partner with business stakeholders to provide practical, commercially focused legal advice in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating vendor agreements. - Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization ensuring contracts are reviewed promptly and accurately. - Act as the point of contact for outside counsel on vendor-related matters, developing sophisticated legal strategies to reduce risk to the company. - Engage with opposing counsel to negotiate terms and build positive relationships. - Analyze and synthesize complex contractual terms, providing clear findings and actionable recommendations to Senior In-House Counsel and business teams. - Translate intricate legal concepts into practical guidance for colleagues with varying levels of legal knowledge. - Assist with other legal matters impacting the company as needed. - Travel up to 25% of the time.BenefitsWe strive to offer an environment that provides our associates with the right balance between work and family.
