Southern Exposure Sunrooms is growing, and we’re looking for a driven, relationship-oriented Sales Representative to help expand our presence in the Charleston, SC market .

Across four markets in the Carolinas, Southern Exposure Sunrooms designs and builds beautiful outdoor living spaces that enhance the way homeowners experience their homes. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their role, build meaningful relationships, and work collaboratively across sales, marketing, and operations to help drive the continued growth of our Charleston market.

Role Description:

As a Sales Representative, you will guide homeowners through the process of creating their ideal sunroom or outdoor living space, from the initial consultation through the sale. You will also play an active role in growing our local presence and developing new business opportunities throughout the Charleston area.

Sales & Customer Relationships

• Conduct in-home consultations to understand customer needs, goals, and budgets.
• Recommend sunroom solutions that align with each homeowner’s vision, emphasizing thoughtful design, quality, ventilation, views, and functionality.
• Prepare and present customized proposals, explain product options, and guide customers through the decision-making process.
• Manage inbound leads, follow up, and build relationships that convert opportunities into sales.
• Represent Southern Exposure Sunrooms with professionalism, honesty, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Local Market Growth & Marketing Collaboration

• Partner closely with the marketing director to develop and execute targeted initiatives that generate qualified leads and drive sales.
• Help identify and prioritize strategic neighborhoods, communities, and geographic areas for focused marketing and sales outreach.
• Support local marketing campaigns through customer insights, market feedback, and collaboration on sales-generating opportunities.
• Attend home shows and other lead-generating events

Teamwork & Accountability

• Collaborate with and build relationships internally with production, operations, marketing, crews, and leadership
• Communicate clearly and consistently with customers and internal team members.
• Take ownership of sales activity, lead follow-up, and results while remaining open to coaching and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to a positive team culture built on accountability, professionalism, and shared success.

Compensation:

• Competitive base plus commission
• Pay: $50,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
• Compensation structure based on experience and production
• Strong upside for the right person

Schedule:

• Full-time; In Office Located in Summerville, SC
• Weekdays and some evenings/weekends as needed for homeowner appointments, home shows, and sales generating/industry events

Experience:

• In-home sales, design sales, construction-related sales, or home improvement sales preferred
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills required

Note: Previous sales experience is a plus, particularly in home improvement, construction, or other consultative sales environments. However, character, coachability, work ethic, and cultural alignment matter more than an impressive resume alone.
