Director, Perioperative Services

Join our leadership team as the Director of Perioperative Services , where you'll lead a dynamic surgical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and an outstanding surgical experience. In this key role, you'll oversee all perioperative areas-including the Operating Rooms, PACU, Short Stay Surgery Unit, Sibley Surgery Center, Outpatient Procedure Suite, Pre-Admission Testing and IR-while driving quality, safety, and operational excellence. Sibley Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, full service 318 bed acute care community hospital serving the Washington, DC area. Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Care Management and certification in Nursing Administration and/or Perioperative Nursing or a Master's Degree in Nursing or a health care related field. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
- Current CPR Certification required.
- At least five (5) years in an acute care setting, to include patient care, education and leadership experience. Perioperative experience essential.
- Experience in managing patient care in a computerized environment highly desirable.
- Experience in project development and implementation, to include both clinical and financial criteria is required

Salary Range: Minimum 166,241.00/annually - Maximum 208,099.00/annually. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
