POSITION SUMMARY Rare Beauty is looking for a Sales and Education Specialist to join the team in the New York City area! The ideal candidate will be an ambassador for the brand in Sephora and Ulta stores. The Rare Beauty Sales and Education Specialist is a retail and client focused role that will help deliver the Rare Beauty experience and drive sales support through application techniques and product recommendations. This role is responsible for driving sales and brand growth within an assigned market through strong retailer relationships, strategic field support, education, and events. The role will build strong partnerships with Sephora and Ulta teams, manage market and freelance calendars, drive freelance productivity, support key product launches and events, and deliver best-in-class experiences for Beauty Advisors and Rare Beauty clients. RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve sales goals across assigned territory through strategic in-store selling, education, events, and retailer partnerships Build strong relationships with Sephora and Ulta store leadership and Beauty Advisors to drive brand engagement, advocacy, conversion, and sales Manage Sephora, Ulta, and AllWork calendars for yourself and your freelance team, ensuring accurate scheduling and strategic coverage across priority stores, events, launches, and key business moments Manage freelance team performance, including sales per hour (SPH), productivity, and event execution Plan and execute the territory event strategy, ensuring the right staffing, strong execution, and achievement of event sales goals Analyze sales, productivity, and brand ranking by store to identify opportunities and create action plans that drive the business Educate and inspire Beauty Advisors on Rare Beauty products, launches, selling techniques, and brand storytelling to build confidence and brand advocacy Maintain strong in-store brand standards, including gondola cleanliness, merchandising, testers, stock levels, and visual updates, while proactively communicating out of stocks and other business needs Track and report sales performance, event results, store insights, and competitive activity, and actively participate in weekly and monthly business meetings Responsibly manage T&E and brand resources including gratis, samples, TOAs, and education materials, while remaining flexible to support evolving business needs REQUIREMENTS Must reside in or near New York City Minimum of 2+ years experience in the Cosmetic Industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strength with time management and ability to prioritize tasks Collaborative and able to thrive in a team environment Must regularly drive to visit stores in the territory, be flexible with schedules, and maintain a valid local driver’s license PHYSICAL DEMANDS Prolonged periods of standing Boxing / unboxing products Occasionally carrying boxes weighing up to 20 lbs #J-18808-Ljbffr Rare Beauty
