Shift: Day | 8:50 AM–3:40 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6 hours 50 minutes/day including 30-minute meal break

Position Overview
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech, language, communication, and swallowing-related services to students in a school-based setting.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license applicable to Virginia.

• Strong knowledge of speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and communication disorders.

• Experience conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.

• Strong understanding of IEP processes and educational support services.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

• Excellent organization, documentation, and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with school staff.

• Commitment to student-centered and evidence-based care.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• Experience providing speech-language services in a school or pediatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments.

• Evaluate students' speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and communication abilities.

• Develop and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans.

• Provide individual and/or group speech-language therapy services.

• Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

• Maintain accurate clinical and educational documentation.

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals and accommodations.

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, school administrators, parents, and healthcare professionals.

• Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support student communication skills.

• Educate teachers, parents, and caregivers regarding speech and language development.

• Identify students requiring additional assessment, specialized services, or referrals.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable educational, clinical, and privacy regulations.

• Maintain professional competency and current evidence-based practices.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
