Software Dev Engineer, Ground Control Services

Salary: $143,400 - 143,400 per year Requirements:

• We require 5+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• We require a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• We require experience programming in at least one software language
• We prefer 1+ years of experience in embedded firmware development
• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

• We participate in all phases of software development, from requirements gathering through implementation, testing, and operations
• We develop embedded software in C, C++, Rust, or other languages within a real-time operating system environment
• We build AWS cloud services that manage our Leo satellites
• We write system applications for satellite command, file transfer, and telemetry
• We work closely with Leo ground service teams and satellite agent teams to support satellite operations
