Work Environment

The role is based in our modern rehabilitation facility in Pensacola, where you will work onsite with a committed team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, post-surgical cases, and sports injuries, using standardized assessment tools to establish baselines for treatment.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs and functional goals, ensuring they are aligned with best practices in physical therapy.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, tailored to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on proper movement mechanics, home exercise programs, and effective injury prevention strategies to promote long-term wellness.
• Collaborate with orthopedic physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure an integrated approach to rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic patient records using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to track progress and outcomes strategically.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in orthopedic physical therapy to enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be treating elderly individuals and patients recovering from surgeries or sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is required for this position.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited educational institution.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, essential for patient interaction and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
