About the Company

Just Construction is partnered with a well-established General Contractor in Fort Lauderdale that is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its team.

About the Role

This role is responsible for managing the administrative, contractual, compliance, and documentation functions that support the company’s construction operations. The ideal candidate will have strong construction-industry experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders while maintaining accurate records and ensuring contractual and insurance compliance.

Responsibilities

Contracts & Subcontract Management

\n
• Issue and maintain commitments, including subcontracts, professional service agreements, purchase orders, and closed POs.
\n
• Ensure all contracts are fully executed only after required insurance and prequalification requirements are satisfied.
\n
• Maintain and update global and project-level subcontract and contract logs.
\n
• Request, collect, file, and track subcontractor project bonds when required.
\n
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and project records.
\n

Insurance & Risk Management

\n
• Request and maintain current Certificates of Insurance for subcontractors, vendors, and ongoing projects.
\n
• Review insurance documentation and renewals for compliance with contractual requirements.
\n
• Maintain company certificates, licenses, renewals, and related documentation.
\n
• Ensure required insurance documentation and dates are accurately recorded within project management systems.
\n
• Support the company’s broader risk-management and compliance processes.
\n

Procore Management

\n
• Create and set up new projects within Procore, ensuring all required fields and information are completed accurately.
\n
• Transfer estimate and document folders into standardized project templates.
\n
• Collect and upload required insurance documentation, dates, and attachments for all project commitments.
\n
• Audit active projects to ensure documentation is properly saved, organized, and compliant with company filing procedures.
\n
• Manage Procore users, including adding and removing users as required.
\n
• Maintain and clean the Procore directory, including identifying and eliminating duplicate contacts and companies.
\n

Manpower & Operations Support

\n
• Prepare the weekly manpower log for company laborers based on requirements provided by Project Managers and Superintendents.
\n
• Maintain the Operations Manpower Log for Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Superintendents.
\n
• Produce manpower and staffing reports as requested by Operations leadership.
\n
• Coordinate and monitor employee compliance training in line with company training requirements, including safety meetings.
\n

Badging & Project Administration

\n
• Manage project badging requirements, including applications, logs, renewals, and returns.
\n
• Maintain organized project files and ensure documentation is easily accessible and up to date.
\n
• Maintain the company’s vendor database and ensure vendor information remains accurate.
\n
• Support the project teams and operations staff with day-to-day administrative and documentation requirements.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
\n
• 3–5+ years of experience within the construction industry, ideally in contracts administration, project administration, construction operations, or a related function.
\n
• 5+ years of office management, administrative, or related experience.
\n
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontractor compliance, insurance documentation, and project administration.
\n
• Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
\n
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Ability to work effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and internal leadership.
\n
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
\n
