Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing relationships with commercial and industrial customers, and promoting our waste and recycling services throughout the assigned territory. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, solving customer needs, and earning uncapped commissions.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial, industrial, and construction customers.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and community involvement.
• Conduct face-to-face sales presentations and site evaluations.
• Prepare competitive proposals and negotiate service agreements.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects using CRM software.
• Develop a thorough understanding of customer waste and recycling needs.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth implementation of new accounts.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Stay informed of market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
• Represent the company professionally at networking events, trade shows, and community functions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience (waste industry experience preferred but not required).
• Proven ability to prospect and close new business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
