Accounting Manager

Core Responsibilities Factor Operations & Inventory Accounting Manage Factor & AR Collections: Oversee daily invoice assignments to factors, reconcile factor advances, manage credit approvals, and resolve wholesale customer chargebacks/disputes. Track Import Costing: Calculate exact landed costs for imported apparel. Oversee Inventory & COGS: Reconcile physical inventory counts against Full Circle ERP records, adjust for shrinkage, and maintain accurate raw materials and finished goods tracking. Vendor Management: Verify vendor invoices, match them to purchase orders, and schedule accounts payable (AP) in coordination with the COO/CFO. Payroll Administration & On-Site HR Coordination Execute Semi-Monthly Payroll: Process semi-monthly payroll for exempt and non-exempt staff using ADP TotalSource. Coordinate On-Site HR: Partner with ADP TotalSource to facilitate on-site HR tasks, including employee onboarding, offboarding, policy enforcement, and compliance reporting. Manage Commissions & Tracking: Calculate multi-tiered sales representative commissions and track them accurately against factory shipments. Benefit Reconciliation: Audit and reconcile monthly ADP billing reports against active employee deductions and general ledger entries. Financial Reporting & Compliance Lead Month-End Close: Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, factor ledgers, and inventory ledgers within Full Circle ERP to close the books efficiently. Draft Financial Statements: Prepare monthly and annual Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow reports for the COO/CFO. Tax & Audit Prep: File local sales and use taxes, organize annual documentation, and prepare work papers for year-end corporate tax filings. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in an apparel manufacturing, wholesale, or consumer goods environment. Systems Expertise: Required proficiency in Full Circle ERP and ADP TotalSource. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis) and proficiency in AI application (Claude, Copilot, Gemini, etc.) Industry Knowledge: Firm understanding of factor accounting structures, chargebacks, and landed cost tracking.
