$133,000.00 yearly Full-time The Golf Course Marshal / 1st Tee Host is responsible for maintaining an exceptional golf experience for our members and their guests. The primary focus of this position is to monitor the course, maintain pace of play, and ensure proper golf etiquette and Club standards are followed. As a 1st Tee Host, the Marshal will also welcome members and guests, assist with the flow of play, and help create a warm and professional first impression of the Golf Operation. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and observant, with the confidence to address situations appropriately while providing a high level of service. Experience in a private club or golf environment is preferred. Monitor the golf course to maintain proper pace of play, spacing between groups, and adherence to Club standards and golf etiquette. Regularly patrol the course and remain visible and available to members and guests. Communicate pace-of-play expectations in a courteous and professional manner and take appropriate action when groups fall behind. Assist members and guests with course questions, directions, and general needs. Monitor course conditions and promptly report maintenance concerns, hazards, or other issues to the appropriate department. Assist with on-course situations and communicate with the Golf Professional staff when additional support is needed. Address member and guest concerns with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgement. Assist with tournaments, outings, member events, and other Club functions. Work closely with Golf Professional staff, Grounds, Cart Services, and other Club departments as needed.
