Director of Enterprise Master Data (Sheboygan Falls)

You’ll use and continually develop both your technical expertise and business acumen to maintain Johnsonville’s innovative industry leadership.Position OverviewThe Director of Enterprise Master Data will lead the transformation and ongoing management of Johnsonville’s master data across product, vendor, customer, and member (employee) domains. This role will be responsible for building and overseeing a centralized master data organization, implementing modern MDM tools and processes, and ensuring high-quality, consistent, and trusted data across the enterprise. The Director will work closely with business units, IT, and data governance stakeholders to enable faster innovation, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyLead and coach the enterprise master data team, consolidating decentralized functions into a unified organization.Support the Chief Information Officer in executing the enterprise MDM strategy and roadmap.Champion data quality and stewardship across business units.Governance & CollaborationCollaborate with stakeholders across the Enterprise to define and enforce data standards, policies, and ownership.Facilitate the Master Data Governance Council and ensure alignment with business priorities.Technology & ProcessDrive the selection, implementation, and optimization of MDM platforms and tools.Design and implement scalable workflows for data creation, maintenance, and change management.Monitor and improve data quality metrics, SLAs, and compliance.Operational ExecutionOversee day-to-day master data operations across domains and geographies.Manage data cleansing, enrichment, and integration efforts.Lead pilot programs and scale successful initiatives across the enterprise.EducationBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration, or related field, preferredExperience8+ years of experience in data management, enterprise systems, or business process leadership, requiredProven experience implementing MDM solutions and leading cross-functional data initiatives, requiredStrong understanding of SAP ERP, SuccessFactors HRIS, Planning and PLM systems and their data structures, requiredExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry preferredSkillsStrategic thinking and executionData governance and stewardshipChange management and process improvementCross-functional collaborationAnalytical and problem-solving skillsOther RequirementsTravel: 10-15% of your time (includes international travel)Benefits and CompensationMembers have potential for a monthly bonus and 401k with a company match.
