Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Let's Talk Counseling, you will:

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster community engagement and address common mental health topics.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services during urgent mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective support.

• Educate clients on their mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and relevant community resources to promote self-advocacy.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential case documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
