Salary Range: $62,000 - $97,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform in-process inspections using various metrology tools to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot machine errors and make necessary adjustments to maintain production.
• Load and unload bar stock, fixtures, and tooling efficiently.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Document production and quality data accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC Swiss-style lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Ability to perform in-process quality checks using various measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators).
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming for troubleshooting and minor edits.
• Experience with tooling selection, setup, and offset adjustments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance
• CMM operating experience
• Forklift certification
