Salary: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 / year + 8% Annual Bonus

Job Summary

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment? We are looking for a Transportation Supervisor to manage daily route execution, safety, and performance for our Georgia fleet of 20+ drivers .

This is a high-visibility opportunity for an experienced transportation professional who enjoys working directly with drivers, maintaining FMCSA/DOT compliance, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities

• Fleet Leadership: Directly supervise 20+ drivers executing delivery routes across Georgia; manage daily driver coverage, shift schedules, call-outs, and PTO.
• Safety & DOT Compliance: Enforce DOT and FMCSA regulations; conduct spot vehicle inspections, driver audits, and performance reviews to ensure a top-tier safety culture.
• Driver Onboarding & Training: Lead local recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training for new and existing drivers.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the main liaison between drivers, sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to resolve delivery delays or order errors.
• Administrative & Fleet Oversight: Track fuel receipts, reconcile monthly billing, monitor telematics data, and collaborate with Fleet Services on vehicle maintenance.
• Emergency Coverage: Step in to assist with route execution or field emergencies as needed to protect customer service levels.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1+ years of transportation or logistics supervisory experience required; 3–5 years of truck-driving experience strongly preferred.
• Licensure: Valid Driver’s License required; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is highly preferred.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA safety regulations, logbooks, and fleet compliance.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with fleet and routing technology (e.g., RoadNet, Geotab, Lytx, ELDs, or standard telematics systems).
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving under pressure, and driver management skills.
