This is a great position for college students or Junior or Seniors in high school who are looking to earn some money after school. Our afternoon staff members hold a variety of roles in the school, including assisting in the classrooms, helping to close down classrooms, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Responsibilities of an Assistant Teacher /Afternoon Resource include the following: Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment Supporting each child’s social and emotional development using appropriate teaching and developmental techniques.
