About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee complex tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals, professional services clients, trusts, partnerships, and related entities.

This is a highly client-facing role offering the opportunity to lead sophisticated tax planning and compliance engagements, provide strategic tax advice, mentor tax professionals, and contribute to long-term client relationships and growth.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex tax engagements involving:
  
  • High-net-worth individuals
  • Partnerships
  • S-Corporations
  • Trusts
  • Gift tax
  • Related entities
• Serve as a trusted tax advisor to high-net-worth individuals and professional services clients.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning solutions related to compensation structures, K-1 allocations, multi-state taxation, and entity structuring.
• Lead multiple client engagements while managing budgets, workflow, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Review tax returns, workpapers, and other engagement deliverables for accuracy and technical quality.
• Mentor, develop, and review the work of staff and senior-level tax professionals.
• Coordinate with attorneys, wealth advisors, and other external professionals on client matters.
• Research and resolve complex tax issues.
• Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Stay current with changes in tax legislation, regulations, and industry developments.

Required Qualifications

• CPA required.
• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Strong technical expertise in:
  
  • High-net-worth individual taxation
  • Partnership taxation
  • Trust taxation
  • Pass-through taxation
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and leading tax engagements.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management, organization, and prioritization abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-state taxation .
• Experience managing complex multi-entity tax structures.
• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and professional services clients.
• Strong tax planning and advisory experience.
• Experience collaborating with attorneys, wealth advisors, and other professional advisors.
