Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this flexible, per diem role, you'll conduct a manageable caseload of approximately 5-10 evaluations annually. Desired Qualifications:

• Current Virginia Special Education Teaching License (required)
• Experience working with K-12 student populations
• Proficiency in completing educational assessments and evaluations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for diverse K-12th grade students
• Develop and present detailed evaluation reports as part of IEP team meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators and support staff to review student needs and recommend services or accommodations
• Consult with families regarding the evaluation process and results
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
• Stay up-to-date with special education laws and best practices
