CPA licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure required. Must be eligible to serve as a School Finance Officer in accordance with North Carolina State Board of Education Policy FINO-000. Minimum Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in finance and budget preparation, administration, or monitoring within a North Carolina local education agency or a comparable finance/accounting environment, supplemented by at least three (3) years of experience reconciling accounting, payroll, purchasing, and other financial records in either the public or private sector.
