A fast-growing mechanical contractor with a strong pipeline of large-scale commercial work is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead HVAC and plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from planning through commissioning and closeout
• Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, quality, safety and profitability
• Review contracts, estimates, drawings and specifications to establish project scope
• Monitor job costs, forecasts, labor productivity and cost-to-complete reporting
• Manage field teams, subcontractors, procurement and equipment releases
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation
• Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, clients, vendors and internal departments
• Identify project risks and resolve issues before they affect delivery
• Lead project meetings and provide clear reporting to senior management
• Build lasting relationships with general contractors, owners and project partners

Requirements

• 7+ years of construction project management experience
• Strong background with a commercial mechanical contractor
• Experience delivering HVAC, plumbing or piping projects
• Knowledge xhyhwjd of budgeting, job costing, forecasting and cost control
• Experience managing field labor, subcontractors and procurement
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, contracts and project schedules
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Construction Management or Engineering degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered
