Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, creating tailored treatment plans that outline therapy goals and the interventions required to achieve them.

• Engage in ongoing consultation with family members, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive understanding and support of each client's unique circumstances.

• Regularly track clients’ progress through detailed documentation in monthly and quarterly reports, which are essential for evaluating ongoing treatment effectiveness.

• Facilitate home visits when necessary to conduct in-person observations, enhancing the data collection process and maintaining an accurate snapshot of clients' environments.

• Organize and lead training sessions for staff and team members, ensuring everyone is well-equipped with the knowledge and skills to adhere to program protocol and documentation standards.

• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and strategies that contribute to the overall improvement of client care within the clinic.

• Maintain a strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines governing the counseling profession to ensure compliance and uphold the integrity of mental health services.

• Foster ongoing communication with clients, establishing rapport and trust to support their journey toward mental wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and children, who may be facing various challenges such as trauma, substance misuse, relationship issues, and other mental health conditions. Understanding the intricacies of each client's situation is crucial, and you will utilize both innovative and evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate their growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical environment.

• Strong knowledge of family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, and substance misuse treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to create positive, therapeutic relationships with clients across varying demographics.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant technology platforms.
