About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Head of Assurance and Testing to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive enterprise assurance and controls testing strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the roadmap, governance, and continuous enhancement of the Assurance and Controls Testing Center of Expertise. This role involves building the capability from the ground up, onboarding business controls suites, and positioning the center to provide consistent, scalable, and technology-enabled assurance. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing assurance methodologies, standards, and quality control processes, as well as overseeing assurance delivery and business partnerships. The SVP will also be instrumental in driving transformation initiatives, particularly in the areas of automation, AI, and continuous testing, and will be expected to lead a large, geographically dispersed team. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for an advanced degree, and at least 15 years' of experience in risk management, controls assurance, internal audit, or related disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk and control frameworks, regulatory expectations, and governance practices, and a proven track record of leading large-scale assurance programs. Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CRMA, CISA, or equivalent are highly valued. The role requires a leader who can foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and who is adept at building trusted relationships across business units and risk partners. The SVP will be evaluated on the delivery of risk-based assurance coverage, the quality and consistency of assurance conclusions, and the effectiveness of quality assurance results.
