A rewarding contract opportunity is available for two dedicated Special Education professionals, with roles commencing in August 2026 and extending through June 2027. Located just outside Manchester, NH, these full-time positions offer the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of 5th and 6th grade students. Workweeks typically range from 32 to 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday.

There are two distinct openings:

• Resource Room Teacher: Manage a manageable caseload of about 15 students, providing tailored instruction and support to help each learner achieve their fullest potential in a supportive, structured environment.
• Life Skills/Intensive Needs Teacher: Lead a self-contained classroom with three students who require comprehensive support due to complex medical needs or autism spectrum disorders. Each student is supported by a dedicated paraprofessional, allowing you to deliver focused, individualized instruction.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education certification
• Experience with elementary or middle school-aged students
• Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Skills in academic, behavioral, and life skills interventions
• For the Life Skills role, prior work with medically complex students or those on the autism spectrum preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with families and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
• Provide direct instruction, both individually and in groups
• Modify curriculum to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, parents, and related service providers
• Maintain clear, accurate record-keeping and progress monitoring
