Step into the 2026-2027 academic year near Bedford, NH, making a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher within an engaging and supportive school environment. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with both 2nd and 5th grade students across two school sites. You'll be instrumental in guiding and empowering a caseload of approximately 15 students, with responsibilities that extend to both teaching and case management.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary grades, particularly 2nd and 5th
• Demonstrated ability to manage and differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs
• Strong organizational skills for effective case management
• Excellent collaborative skills for working with staff and families
• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted special education instruction to assigned caseload
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to adapt curricula
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each student’s progress
• Foster positive, inclusive classroom environments across both school locations
• Engage with parents and guardians to provide regular updates and support
