Step into an impactful contract position supporting students' unique learning needs in a vibrant educational community for the 2026-2027 school year. You'll have the rewarding opportunity to make a difference working full-time (Monday through Friday, 32 to 37.5 hours weekly) with a diverse elementary caseload.

In this engaging role, you'll lead special education services for a blended caseload of grade 5 and grade 2 students across two area elementary schools. With responsibility for approximately 15 students, your expertise will guide both instruction and case management, helping students achieve success both academically and developmentally.

Desired Skills & Background:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Experience teaching in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings preferred
• Strong IEP development and case management skills
• Comfort supporting 2nd and 5th-grade learners with varying abilities
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
• Ability to adapt to multiple school environments
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and instruct individualized and small group lessons tailored to student needs
• Coordinate proactive interventions and accommodations within the classroom setting
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers
• Write and maintain detailed student IEPs, including progress monitoring
• Foster productive relationships with families to keep them engaged in student growth
• Attend and participate in meetings to support student success
• Manage your time effectively across two school locations
