Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions, as well as couples and family therapy sessions, to effectively address the emotional and relational dynamics clients face during their rehabilitation journey.

• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate clients' relational challenges, emotional distress, and rehabilitation aspirations, creating tailored treatment plans that encapsulate both psychological and recovery-focused goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques rooted in family systems theory to foster healthy communication, conflict resolution, and effective coping mechanisms among clients and their families.

• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated care approach that aligns with clients' therapeutic objectives.

• Provide timely support and crisis intervention during critical phases of rehabilitation to help clients navigate their feelings effectively.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with established legal and ethical standards.

• Facilitate psychoeducation for clients and their families, guiding them on the emotional challenges of rehabilitation and suggesting strategies to strengthen familial support systems.

Qualifications\n

• Hold a current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.
