Job Summary

The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating service requests, scheduling field personnel or technicians, maintaining communication with clients, and ensuring services are delivered efficiently and on time. This role serves as the primary point of contact between customers, service teams, and internal departments to support high-quality customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate service appointments, work orders, and technician assignments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service requests and updates.
• Monitor service schedules and adjust assignments as necessary to meet customer needs.
• Create, track, and maintain work orders and service documentation.
• Communicate with technicians, clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, customer interactions, and billing information.
• Assist with invoicing, timesheet verification, and service reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Generate reports and provide administrative support to service management.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service, dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
