About the Role

The Company is seeking a Dean and Chief Academic Officer to lead its innovative and collaborative institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the future of medical education, with a focus on developing and executing a strategic vision that aligns with the evolving healthcare landscape. This role involves providing leadership in all academic, accreditation, faculty, student affairs, and clinical education functions, and ensuring that the curriculum and support systems prepare graduates to excel in a dynamic and complex healthcare environment. The Dean/CAO will also be instrumental in the College's infrastructure development, including accreditation, program implementation, faculty recruitment, and strategic growth. Applicants for the Dean and Chief Academic Officer position at the company must hold a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from a COCA-accredited college, have an unrestricted medical license, and possess AOA and/or ABMS board certification. A minimum of 5 years' of proven experience in academic leadership roles, including budget management, is required. The ideal candidate will have a full-time commitment to the institution, outstanding executive leadership and management skills, and a strong background as a COM Dean or in a similar role. The role demands a leader with a deep understanding of the competencies required of future physicians, a champion for academic excellence, innovation, and continuous quality improvement, and a commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
