The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing departmental philosophy and objectives in alignment with the overall system mission. This role involves active participation in the development, review, and evaluation of policies and procedures, as well as the integration of hospital goals and objectives into the delivery of patient care services. The Interim CNO will also be a key member of the executive team, contributing to the strategic direction of the hospital and maintaining compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Applicants for the Interim CNO position at the company should have substantial experience in a similar role at a major US hospital or health system. A Master's degree is preferred, and candidates must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of the facility. The role requires a leader who can provide education on nursing practice standards, oversee quality management activities, and effectively manage staffing levels. The Interim CNO will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the continuity of patient care services and must stay current on organizational policies, federal and state regulations, and nursing practice standards.
