LEV—Hebrew for heart and an acronym for Learn, Engage, Venture—creates engaging experiences that meet learners of every age, background, and ability exactly as they are, opening meaningful pathways to Jewish connection and community. Rooted in relationships, creativity, and dignity (B’tzelem Elohim), we nurture the whole child and foster meaningful Jewish journeys through inclusive, multisensory programs that meet each learner where they are. Through our specialized Sunday School for neurodiverse children—paired one-on-one with trained teen mentors—our innovative LEV Mobile, and immersive, sensory-rich community experiences, we bring Judaism to life through joy, play, and belonging. About Your Role

The Judaic and Program Director reports to the Executive Director. This person is a creative, relational, innovative, and hands-on educator who brings LEV’s Jewish vision to life through the development and delivery of meaningful programs for children and families. This role blends Judaic leadership, curriculum development, and on-the-ground facilitation in partnership with the Executive Director. You will shape joyful, accessible Jewish learning experiences while overseeing program execution.

What You’ll Do

• Take the lead on community-based programming including preschools, camps, and school partnerships - scheduling, planning, and follow-through
• Oversee and facilitate LEV’s vacation /no school days program while supervising and supporting staff across vacation day, institutional partnership, and community programs.
• Lead development and implementation of Judaic and Hebrew curriculum for Sunday School, supporting educators and students in each classroom
• Develop and pilot an inclusive B’nai Mitzvah initiative
• Plan and run programs from start to finish, including activity design, setup, facilitation, and follow-through
• Purchase and manage program supplies for community and institutional programs, in coordination with and approval from the Executive Director
• Ensure programs reflect LEV’s pedagogy, values, and commitment to inclusive, multisensory learning
• Collaborate closely with LEV leadership and staff to continuously refine and strengthen programming
• Identify and develop new program opportunities that expand LEV’s reach and sustainability, increasing LEV’s earned revenue
• Carry out additional responsibilities, as directed by the Executive Director

What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done

• Background in Jewish education, early childhood education, or experiential learning
• Strong knowledge of Judaic content and comfort with Hebrew in educational settings
• Experience designing and facilitating programs for children including children with diverse learning profiles and abilities
• Ease with low-demand and non-denominational teaching approach
• Flexibility, reliability, and comfort working in dynamic, hands-on environments
• Passion for joyful, inclusive Jewish learnin
• Ability to manage multiple programs, timelines, and details simultaneously
• Comfort overseeing and collaborating with staff
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details
