Phlebotomy Supervisor

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in Nashville, TN.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of(25+) phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers, hospitals and/or physician's offices

• Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logs

• Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary

• Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinking

• Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals

• Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions

• Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions

• Communicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management

• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients

• Assist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices

• Provide resolution of any patient or client issues

• Perform, collect and preparespecimens when needed

• Travel to additional sites as necessary

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1yearor moreof experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2yearsor moreof experience as a phlebotomist

• 2yearsor moreof experience supervising or leading a team

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for aphlebotomylicense filed withthe CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.

• Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation

• Must be at least 21 years’ old

• In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilitiesand techniques

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

• Comfortably working under minimal supervision

• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

As a Phlebotomy Supervisor you will lead a team of Phlebotomists and directly impact the Patient/Client experience. You will manage and oversee all aspects of our LabCorp patient service centers and designated client locations. This role emphasizes your ability to lead, inspire, and develop others.
