Accounts Receivable Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounts Receivable Specialist job opportunity for the corporate office located in Fremont, CA. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction having professional receivable experience with cash applications, collections, and billing. The role will be responsible for complex cash applications, researching and understanding the billing workflow, understand project based billing, work in progress (WIP), account reconciliations, liens, improving the DSO and cleaning up accounts, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field would be nice to have - Solid knowledge of accounting principles, understanding debits and credits (GAAP) - Full cycle Account Receivable experience (Cash Applications, Billing, Collections) - Construction industry experience required - Strong computer/technical skills (Outlook, Word, & Excel - Intermediate) - Software experience with Vista Viewpoint preferred or a medium to large ERP - Good communications (verbal & written) - Detailed, reliable, and organized - Team player, a positive attitude, and quick to learn Experience: 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience (Accounts Receivable Specialist, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Billing Specialist Collections Specialist) Employment Type: Temp to Hire If you are interested in this or other job opportunities available through LHH Recruitment Solutions, please submit your resume today at !

Pay Details: $32.00 to $36.00 per hour
