Training Support SpecialistJob Summary:The Training Support Specialist plays a vital role in bringing the Another Broken Egg Cafe Mission, Vision and Values to life by leading training and facilitation for new cafe openings across both franchise and corporate locations. This role partners closely with the Senior Manager of Training and Vice President of Franchise Operations and Training to ensure consistency, excellence, and a seamless brand experience.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads with positivity, and is passionate about developing others, creating happiness who deliver memorable experiences in every cafe.What Sets This Role ApartThis role is more than training, it is about building culture, developing people, and opening cafes the correct way from day one. As a Training Support Specialist, you will help create environments where teams feel confident, supported, and inspired to deliver Happy People sharing Happiness every day.Duties/Responsibilities:Lead New Cafe Opening training for corporate and franchise locations, ensuring all teams are set up for successPartner with Management teams, Territory Managers and Franchisees to ensure exceptional on brand training experiencesManage staffing and travel requirements for new cafe openingsSupport and follow up on New Manager Training in the field to ensure consistency and retention.Collaborate with Training Team and other departments to deliver and continuously improve training programs, including:Cafe management trainingMenu rolloutsNew franchisee onboardingCertified Trainer and Certified Cafe developmentReinforce the ABEA culture, ensuring it becomes part of the everyday experience for every Team Member.Conduct training needs, assessments and proactively develop solutions to close performance and knowledge gaps.Foster a learning environment based on adult learning principles that ensures optimal comprehension, development, and retentionProvide clear, timely and actionable evaluations and feedback to trainees and their managerSupport cafe operations by running Manager shifts when needed: represent ABEA in a professional manner in accordance with our philosophy, culture, brand standards and corporate policiesRequired Skills/Abilities:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsConfident and engaging public speaker with strong facilitation skillsAdept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methodsAbility to design and implement effective trainingExtremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program softwareHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines working under pressure.Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to collaborate and communicate seamlessly with all levelsStrong decision making and problem-solving skillsSelf- motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Training and Development, Instructional Design, Adult Education, Human Resources, or similar; or equivalent experience1-2 years of experience with learning management systems; Experience with Articulate preferredFluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written preferred1-2 years of successful restaurant training experience1-2 years of new restaurant opening experienceStrong project management experienceProficient in Microsoft Office productsApproximately 50-75% of travel is required #J-18808-Ljbffr
