Join a Growing Leader in Fire & Life Safety SolutionsNY Fire Detection is seeking a driven and relationship-focused System Sales Executive to develop, manage, and close Fire Alarm and Life Safety System opportunities throughout the New York market.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building new business, working directly with contractors and decision-makers, and managing high-value projects from initial pursuit through contract award.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a competitive environment, is motivated by uncapped earning potential, and takes ownership of their pipeline and results.
What You'll Do✔️ Develop new business opportunities within the construction and commercial sectors
✔️ Build and maintain relationships with General Contractors, Electrical Contractors, Engineers, Developers, and Building Owners
✔️ Identify and pursue new project opportunities through networking, referrals, bid invitations, and industry resources
✔️ Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and project planning sessions
✔️ Review project specifications and collaborate with Engineering and Estimating teams to develop competitive proposals
✔️ Lead client presentations, negotiations, and proposal discussions
✔️ Drive opportunities from initial discovery through contract award
✔️ Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate forecasting through CRM tools
✔️ Position NY Fire Detection as a trusted partner for Fire Alarm and Life Safety solutions
What We're Looking For
✔️ 7+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience
✔️ 5+ years of outside sales or business development experience
✔️ Proven success prospecting, developing, and closing new business
✔️ Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
✔️ Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
✔️ Experience working within competitive bid environments or project-based sales
✔️ Highly organized with strong pipeline management skills
