Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess the intensity and nature of clients' mood disorder symptoms through thorough evaluations and interviews.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the client's specific goals, therapeutic needs, and preferences.

• Apply a range of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care practices to enhance recovery.
\n
• Monitor client progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and clinical insights.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.

• Stay updated on the latest research in mood disorders and therapeutic practices to continuously improve treatment methodologies.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings, offering and receiving feedback to enhance professional practice.

• Advocate for client needs and promote awareness of mental health issues to reduce stigma associated with treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals and families seeking support for relationship issues, divorce, and mood disorders. You will engage with a variety of clients, from young adults facing transitional challenges to couples navigating relationship dynamics, helping them develop healthier coping strategies and communication skills.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
