Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children in developmental programs to identify their unique needs and challenges.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create tailored support strategies.
\n
• Monitor developmental progress and outcomes, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure effectiveness and engage with families in setting developmental goals.
\n
• Provide evidence-based early intervention support to families, equipping them with resources and skills to foster their child’s growth in a natural learning environment.
\n
• Utilize a coaching model to engage parents and guardians effectively, promoting parental involvement and reinforcing learning strategies at home.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations while maintaining the highest ethical standards in practice.

• Build rapport with children and families, fostering trusting relationships that encourage open communication and collaboration.

• Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in social work and early childhood intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on children, infants, and toddlers experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. Our LCSWs work closely with families in various settings, providing guidance, support, and personalized intervention techniques that align with each child’s needs. By working collaboratively with families, you will help empower them to navigate challenges and maximize their child’s potential while promoting overall family wellbeing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, as required by the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver’s license in order to conduct home visits and travel to various client locations as needed.

• Strong familiarity with Natural Learning Environment Practices and commitment to implementing these methodologies in your work.

• Proficiency in adapting communication and educational techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and family dynamics.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle caseloads and documentation efficiently.
