Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Special Education teacher specializing in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to support middle school learners in a supportive and collaborative environment, working Monday through Friday in a Setting II/III/center-based program.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience working with students who have Emotional and Behavioral Disorders
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Up-to-date resume required for consideration

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction based on students’ IEPs for learners with EBD
• Develop and implement behavior intervention strategies
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and families to meet students’ academic and emotional needs
• Monitor and document student progress, participating in IEP meetings and other staffings as needed
• Create a structured, safe, and supportive classroom environment
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to address varying learning styles and abilities
