You’ll work within a structured, collaborative team, sharing your expertise to develop and implement customized learning plans while maintaining an inclusive and supportive classroom. Your daily schedule will provide you with 37.5 hours per week to build relationships with students, contribute to a positive school culture, and advance your professional practice.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Minnesota teaching license required (Special Education)
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring
• Ability to maintain a compassionate and patient classroom environment
• Previous experience in a special education setting preferred, but not required
• Commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed instruction
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with varying needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and support staff
• Collaborate with related service providers, interventionists, and school leadership
• Track student progress and adapt teaching strategies to help each student thrive
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful classroom community
