Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Previous experience in a Special Education classroom preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to diverse learning needs
• Passion for fostering growth and confidence in students with disabilities

Responsibilities:

• Design, deliver, and adapt lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with general education staff, related services, and families to support student progress
• Monitor and assess student performance, updating records and adjusting plans as necessary
• Develop, review, and maintain IEPs while ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports students academically, socially, and emotionally
• Participate in professional development and contribute to school initiatives
