• Current licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with learning disabilities

• Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with fellow educators, families, and support staff
• Comfortable utilizing data and assessment tools to track student progress

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to 5th grade students with learning disabilities
• Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure consistency in student support
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate multiple learning styles
• Monitor progress and maintain detailed records for each student
• Communicate regularly with families to ensure transparency and encourage partnership in student growth
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
