Make an immediate impact in the lives of students by providing expert special education instruction in a supportive school community. Multiple full-time positions are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers covering a variety of grade levels and settings, including early childhood, elementary, middle school, high school, and specialized transition programs. Opportunities include a 0.5 FTE high school role, with positions beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License required
• ASD endorsement highly desirable, particularly for Transition Center assignments
• Prior experience in a school-based special education environment preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop and adapt instructional strategies for diverse learners
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Deliver direct special education instruction tailored to each student's strengths and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure continuity and quality of services
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to measure student growth
• Foster inclusive, supportive classroom communities that encourage independence and social-emotional development
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state special education regulations
