Exciting contract opportunities are available for highly-qualified professionals passionate about supporting middle school students in a specialized education setting. As part of a dedicated team, you will provide vital assistance to students in a center-based environment, contributing to their growth and daily success.
Key Qualifications:
- Must be “highly qualified” through ONE of the following:
- Successful completion of the MN Para Educator Exam (provide passing score documentation)
- At least 60 college credits (official college transcripts required; diploma/degree not accepted)
- Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a school support staff role preferred
- Ability and willingness to assist students with toileting and personal care as needed
- Comfortable working closely with students in Setting 2-3 center-based caseloads
- Strong communication skills and dedication to teamwork
- Candidates must provide a current resume and the required documentation (listed above) to be considered
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support classroom instruction for middle school students in collaboration with licensed educators
- Deliver individualized and small group assistance in academic and functional skill development
- Assist students with daily routines, including toileting and hygiene, fostering independence where possible
- Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere
- Help ensure a safe, accessible, and inclusive learning environment for all students
What You’ll Love About This Role:
