Registered Nurse - ICU

$1713.60/week –

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a critical care setting. Ensure patient stability and safety through expert intervention and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on acuity levels.

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and protocols.

• Monitor patient vital signs and system reports using hospital electronic systems such as Epic and Pyxis.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, utilizing SBAR for handoffs.

• Respond promptly to emergent situations, including ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, and other critical diagnoses.

• Document patient care activities and clinical observations accurately and timely.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active GA or Compact RN licensure.

• Possess a minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience.

• Be BLS, ACLS, and NIHHS certified prior to start date.

• Demonstrate proficiency in ICU systems and devices.

• Capable of working day shifts (3×12 hours) with floating within scope of practice.

• Comply with hospital and compliance requirements, including full onboarding prior to start.
