Senior Accountant

CV Resources has partnered with a fast-growing defense company to identify an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment, enjoys taking ownership of key accounting areas, and wants to help build scalable processes as the company continues to grow. What You’ll Be Doing Executing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to support accurate and timely financial reporting Preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, and payroll‑related entries Performing account reconciliations and investigating variances and discrepancies Supporting general ledger maintenance and ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data Assisting in the preparation of internal financial statements and management reporting packages Supporting internal controls, audit readiness, and ongoing compliance requirements Partnering with AP, Payroll, Cost Accounting, FP&A, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve issues and improve processes Identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to improvements in close timelines, accuracy, and scalability Must‑Haves Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2‑4 years of Big 4 public accounting experience, combined with private industry experience at a public company Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement structure Manufacturing industry experience , including exposure to inventory and cost accounting Compensation: $120K - $140K base This role requires U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency due to government export control regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr CV Resources
