Job Title: PCU RN for Float Pool Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: Not specified Shift: Not specified Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar sized facility License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Experience with cardiac population, familiarity with cardiac drips Description: This position involves floating to all Progressive Care Unit and Intermediate Care Unit floors with a cardiac population. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:3-4. Experience with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain is required. The position may involve using cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors. The nurse may also be assigned to telemetry beds in the same unit with lower acuity levels. Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records is necessary. Minimal requested time off is preferred.
