About the Position

Candidates must have CPR certification. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Behavioral Health unit. The unit has a total of 40 beds and employs a dedicated staff of 46. The night shift consists of 4 RNs and 3 Mental Health Technicians. Patient ratios are maintained at 1 RN to 8 patients. The unit is equipped with no specific equipment and utilizes Meditech for electronic medical records. Ideal candidates will have additional training in the behavioral health field. The best personality fit for this role is someone who is compassionate, kind, motivated, and understanding of mental illness. The dress code includes turquoise and black scrubs. This position is focused on providing care and support to individuals during their most difficult times.
