Executive Recruiter

LHH is seeking an Executive Recruiter to join our Accounting & Finance Practice Area , serving the Washington DC-Baltimore Metropolitan Area. This position offers a flexible work schedule with a hybrid/remote mix . We specialize in connecting top-tier Accounting & Finance professionals with organizations throughout the Baltimore, Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia markets. This role blends full-cycle recruiting with client engagement, focusing on direct hire placements in the Accounting & Finance space. We understand that every job opening is more than a role to fill, and every candidate is more than a resume. Our recruiters work closely with both clients and candidates to ensure the right fit that drives business success. Responsibilities: Execute full-cycle recruiting for mid- to senior-level Accounting & Finance positions. Partner with clients to define hiring needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates. Conduct resume screening, behavioral interviews, and competency-based evaluations. Negotiate fee agreements and manage placement documentation. Maintain subject matter expertise on Accounting & Finance industry trends, roles, and talent needs. Administer job postings and track candidate data in internal systems. Develop and maintain strong relationships with both active and passive candidates. Participate in client site visits to better understand organizational goals and culture. Ensure compliance with hiring and onboarding processes. Mentor and support junior team members as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience recruiting mid- to senior-level professionals or relevant industry experience. Previous sales experience in a corporate environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Client-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and service. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices. Ability to build and maintain professional networks and industry relationships. Demonstrated business acumen and problem-solving capabilities. Strong understanding of KPIs. Competitive mindset. Base salary of $50K+ depending on years of experience, plus uncapped commission, a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, paid holidays and much more!
