This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.
Looking for a new challenge or seeking a change? The Department of Motor Vehicles is looking for a self-motivated, outgoing individual with great leadership and interpersonal skills to serve as an Operations Manager II in the Business Partner Operations (BPO) Unit. The BPO unit is responsible for auditing completed registration transactions from the Department's Business Partners including, but not limited to, correcting errors and corresponding both verbally and in writing with customers. The Manager II is expected to be an advocate of cooperative teamwork; nurture ideas; work toward collaborative solutions; provide effective coaching; and recognize employee accomplishments. The incumbent must demonstrate professionalism; meet necessary deadlines; effectively manage multiple priorities and projects which include training, developing, and supervising staff; monitor workloads and employee performances to ensure proper implementation of policies and procedures; and ensure that Unit service levels are maintained. This position will be temporarily located at Depot Park, 8251 Demetre Avenue, Sacramento, CA. All eligible applicants may apply. A training and development assignment may be considered.
