Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, utilizing evidence-based practices to improve clients' mental health status.

• Encourage clients to share their emotions and experiences, guiding them to develop self-awareness and healthy relationship patterns.

• Act as a strong advocate for clients, assisting in the identification of their goals and aspirations.

• Utilize your clinical knowledge to assess clients' mental health conditions, and collaboratively develop and implement tailored treatment plans grounded in a solution-oriented approach.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, treatment plans, and other necessary paperwork, while minimizing administrative burdens to focus on counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population that may include individuals battling anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and various other mental health conditions. Your role is to provide not only therapeutic support but also empathy and understanding, helping clients achieve lasting change and improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure by the state of New York—options include Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• No provisional or limited licenses will be accepted, and applicants must not have had prior disciplinary actions.
\n
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills complemented by a compassionate approach to client care.

• Proficiency in technology and willingness to work with telehealth platforms is necessary.

• Demonstrated success in managing a caseload effectively and efficiently.

• Prior experience in providing remote counseling or teletherapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year for full-time counselors, with pro-rated compensation for part-time schedules.
